Designing with real materials is about 'honouring the material', says Mark. Designers can choose to use a native i o s button, or transliterated h t male version that mostly looks th am but actually isn't exactly the same. If you are eventually going to ship a native io s button widg it, you might want to do your design with a native io s button implmantation. But there's also the notion of designing with rear materials such as hardwood and particle board.
