Adaptive Robotic Superstructure
Researchers used 3D printed and actual human teeth samples. They coated with them with saliva, then they cultured known biofilm generating bacteria on them. In the right medium, it only took about 43 hours for the biofilm to form. The authors called these surface topography adaptive robotic superstructure or stars.
