The Differences Between DNA and Bacteria
For humans, we have a ribosome that has a 40 and a 60 part to it. A bacteria has a 30 and a 50s. Do you know what the s stands for? No. Seconds. Because if you take those subunits and spin them in a centrifuge, that's how long it takes for them to become... To drop to the bottom. So, again, more differences. The whole reason why we're highlighting these differences is so we can exploit them with the antibiotics we bring up shortly.
