Concentration Without Effort
Concentration is a free act itis unidentified. One cannot truly concentrate if their will is attached to something tethered, is controlled. A monk in prayer and a bull in a rage are both concentrated but one is dominated and the other is not. The author states it is the intelligence of hisrhythmic system which replaces that of his brain during his acrobatic exercise. On page nine, the intelligence of the head no longer matters. Concentration is transposed from typical mental intelligence to that of the rhythmic system, from mind to will.
