Movie Production Codes - Is That Really the Case?
Hollywood gets criticized for being too too lascivious, too out there. In 1930 they clamped down even further and made this production code. No pictures allowed to lower the moral standards of those who see it. So jestive dancing was banned as was kissing with too much lust. It was forbidden to insult religion or show use of illegal drugs.
