In Acts, chapter 16, verse 31. They said, believe in the lord jesus christa's after the question, what must i do to be saved? So how does a dead man get new life? By believing. Faith is the instrumental means by which one is raised. Therefore, faith, instrumentally, must precede the raising. If it says through faith, clearly the faith must exist there prior to the raising.
