Cancer Cells Ignore Signals That Tell Them to Stop Dying

Many cancers have evolved or developed proteins that allow them to camouflage themselves. They can even send a message to the immune cells to say, hay, don't kill me. There are many different proteins and receptors that cancer sells in order to avoid recognition of its own growth. Some examples include m h c class one which enables them to continue to grow when there's no longer any protein being expressed on their surface.
