What Is the Difference Between Atonement and Efficacy?

Efficacy is the assurance that once this fact cene is administered, it actually does what it's supposed to do. So efficacy is sometimes confused with efficiency. In some theories of the atonement, a subjective state, say, whether it be the intellect or the willor ora a disposition, or something like that, is suitably changed in a way that it brings the human in alignment with god's character or his purposes.
