Parker's Solar Probe Is Passing Through the Atmosphere of the Sun
Parker's solar probe is passing through the atmosphere of the sun, yes. And you can see tike like when you watch an eclipse and you're not completely clouded out,. That that hazy glow around the sun is the corona et. Parker solar probe is passed into that region. It's that close. The energy in the individual particles has a temperature of two to five million degrees. There are very, very few particles, so it's not totally going to roy our poor, innocent spacecraft id.
