A boston ten point coalition was formed. The triggering event was the funeral that was held at morning star baptist church, where essentially, this is really painting with a broad bud, broad brush, a gang fight broke out. So they partnered together across denominational, ethnic lines. They partnered with the boston police, city agencies, public health and worked out a strategy to reduce youth violence in the city of Boston.
