The metaverse is a term coined back in the eighties, but became popular again during the pandemic. It's an overarching architecture that standardizes all of it and allows everything to inter operate. A game like sky weaver would be one virtual world amongst a much larger set of other virtual worlds. And then we'll have meta verses, which is like the internet to day.
