The Connection Between the Quantum and the Physical World, Consciousness and Reality
The more we know about the physical world, the more we are ultimately going to learn more about consciousness itself and vice versa. The quantum metaphors are interesting because it seems as though just as in quantum mechanics there are complementarities where a photon could be a particle or a wave at the same time. Those are both pretty strange because we don't see that all the time in the everyday world. It's psychologically satisfying to be able to say, I know what I know and I don't even need to know how I know it. So from here, it's comforting.
