We're Holding Back Information Freedom

I think in order to have those conversations there has to be like a general understanding of what is being missed out on by not having this thing. Like people frame it as oh you want to steal from artists just so that you can get books without paying for them or you just love to watch things without paying for it because you are morally deficient in some way and don't like to earn what you get. It's such an artificial construct to have things set up the way that we currently do where those things are pitted against each other. We're holding back one of the greatest potentials of information freedom in human history because of how we've set things up.
