Steve Jobs and the HP Way

Steve Jobs talked about how he was influenced by Bill Hewill and David Packard, specifically the fact that they wrote down the principles of their company. The first thing they said in the HP way is that we have to make a profit. And I like that as opposed to building a product to made a profit. It's like, no, no, we're going to make profits so we can make products that make the world better. That's how Edison thought about it. He wasn't in it for the right reasons. For Edison, Tesla, Tesla winds up making a little bit of money too. But he focused solely on building products for the good of humanity.
