In the UK, unless you do private practice and a lot of it, you're sort of capped at about 100,000 and a bit per year. And so to me, this idea of financial freedom is very important because I don't want to be in a position whereby the money that I'm earning through my day job is the thing that is funding my lifestyle. "I feel like I'd live a happier life if I wasn't shackled to a job that I didn't necessarily enjoy," he says.
