I wasn't in Ireland at the time of the Good Friday Agreement. I think looking back to a lot of people, it seems inevitable. Why wouldn't people have voted yes? But there were serious problems with how it was going to work. A lot of unionists were very worried that the Republican prisoners were less out of jail without paramilitary weapons having been decommissioned than the whole thing was going to fall apart. So it wasn't inevitable. And so in a sense, you could say Rishi soon had the keys to that.
