Is There a Difference Between External and Internal Vaginal Exams?

In a normala female pelvis an it can tolerate as much as two kilograms of pressure. In a patient that doesn't have any involvement of the pelvic floor muscles, they'll say, i feel it, and it's pressure. But if they report ina severe pain with even light touch or light pressure of the pelvic flor muscles, you're now going to suspect pelvic floor involvement.
