Pree schools are free or subsidized for three and four year olds in New York City. Headstart success has inspired local governments to create their own pre-schools. In some places, any kid is eligible to go, while in others there simply isn't a public option. President byden wants two years of universal, high quality pree school for every child no matter what background they come from.
