When to Start Building a ML Platform
There is always these days, there are not many companies who make and should make the choice to build a ML platform from scratch. Even if people advertise end to end platforms, you can be quite sure that you will either need to adapt your processes or you will just need to bend glue some things to actually make it work for you. Typically, there are a few smells that you see, which give a bit of an indication that you should consider thinking about a platform. That's usually a point where you should think about, hmm, maybe a platform that helps me standardize some things and take away rebuilding of two things could then definitely make sense.
