In 1928, Henry Ford built the Rouge plant. He just got sick of he wanted to totally vertical. He hated waste. And if you hate waste, you want to do it all yourself. The issue with that is over the last 80 years, we've been breaking that model apart because we could save labor by having this part made in another country. But when technology comes around like this big change, whether it's embedded electric architecture or these new EV components, you can't delegate that to supply chain. You have to go to Silicon Carbide inverters before the people and design your motors more efficiently than other people.
