The Misfit's Story
'I was clearly, I just wanted to be everyone's friend and I was not cool', he says. 'My mum didn't want me to play team sports so I did try and my dad wanted me to play soccer.' He recalls being kicked in the face by a kid who dislocated his cheekbone. But when bullies would pick on him they would leave him out of their teams. His mother stood up for him - even though she had no idea what bullying was all about.
