The Three-Act Structure of Wigay

There are three parts of this novel set in three different places and that I thought that worked really neatly as a kind of three-act structure. But also the thing I found really intriguing about this novel is it felt like it could have been three separate books almost. That's what I wanted to explore, how we connect to people through sound, people we've lost or loved ones who are far away. What is it? What is separation? What is grief and what is love and can music connect us to things we've lost,people we've lost? And that was something I really wanted to explore through the book.
