New York City Tap Water - It's Not Neutral
Right now is a good time to do it. The lakes are turning. They have a a winter where it's frozen over and nothing happens. And then it thaws out. As the cold water sinks to the bottom, it creates a current in the lake. It takes the primordial ooze on the bottom of the lake, which is nutrient for the lake itself. Then you get a passage of that into spring, and then finally into summer, where you get the thermocline developed. So all those bottom organisms and nutrients are being put into the water column, and you're drinking it because they don't filter.
