Dr. Kathy Edwards recently retired as the Sarah Sel and Cornelius Vanderbilt endowed chair in pediatrics at Vanderbilt where she spent her entire 42 year career. In 2006, she received the IDSA Mentor Award and in 2014,. she received the Maureen Andrews Mentoring Award from the Society of Pediatric Research. Buddy Creech: This year marks the 20th anniversary of me joining Kathy's team as a fellow.
