The Importance of Empirical Data in the American Community Survey

The American community survey, or the ACS for short, is an annual survey that's conducted by the US Census Bureau. It contains a lot of data that we use that we have traditionally used to measure adulthood milestone so things like if someone's still enrolled in school or not and are they working full time or not. The large sample also allows us to focus on specific subgroups rather than just saying Latin X populations or Asian Americans right.
