Is Chad the Perfect Southern Boy?

The idea of marrying someone like Chad is absolutely repulsive to me. I find it hard to stomach the fact that my mom wasn't ready to meet someone so wonderful like Taylor, but fangirls over Chad any time that he is brought into the conversation. The breakup was so difficult because we both still love each other deeply. What rubs salt in the wound is the fact that Taylor and I never even got to meet my family since I am only out to them. How do I deal with having a hateful cousin for having exclusionary beliefs? It's totally okay to not have a relationship with your family, but for me, realizing my family holds exclusionary beliefs that ultimately exclude me
