i think your book does really well is that it outlines how thosea socialization processes actually matter for mobility, or the formation of inequality. Because not only that, lower income students, especially do isadvantage, feel uneasy with their peers. The privileged poor come in with an understanding ofo aljus folkus on the work. Arw advantage come in saying, aldis folks on the work and don't worry about other people's opinions. And so they know just how much connections matter. They know the work matter, but they also know that it's not just what you know and whom you know, who knows you, and also, importantly, how well they know you
