Can Alberta's Sovereignty Act Impact Other Provinces?
The sovereignty act aims to resist federal laws if people feel like they're not in Alberta's interest. David MacKinnon: It's an extension of a very long, held, deeply held politics of grievance that is sometimes reasonable and sometimes unreasonable. He says the question is whether it will push other provinces to say "If Alberta gets this kind of deal, we want that kind of deal too"MacKinnon: We don't know just how bad it can get but presumably at some point it'll be worse than this again.
