The Rockies Are Trying to Prevent the Hangover Effect

The Rockies have tried various techniques to ameliorate the effects of that over the years and I don't know that there's any sign that it's helping. Charlie Blackman may set three of the six home games just to keep him fresher they may rotate the designated hitter spot a little bit more this yearjust to kind of combat a little bit of that tiredness. They're not doing anything drastically new with their hitters but they're just kind of hoping that a new hitting coach fresh eyes will make the difference for them.
