Gero admitted killing Phil Dombluski, Susan Petz and Alicia Hauck. He seemed curiously detached as he described the murders. This passive phrasing might simply indicate Gero's unwillingness to take responsibility for his crimes. Or it could point to something deeper, a type of dissociation.
