The Power of Light Sheet Microscopy

A new technique called light sheet microscopy is used to image brain tissue. It uses lasers from the side to go through the biological sample and create a sheet of light within a specific section of the samples. The coils that control the magnetic field are 100 times stronger than those found in clinical MRI. And there's also the high performance computers that run a lot of this.
