M and i have been working with the dona economics action lab to localize some of its principles. We call it down scaling the doughnut, or unrolling the doughnut locally. The question that we invite every neighborhood or town or city to ask themselves is: How can our place be a home to thriving people in a thriving place? And if that question's got four parts, first of all, what would it mean for everybody in this place to thrive?
