The Disdain for Welfare

Some Christians believe that any time we are talking about welfare, we should not talk about it at all except in the context of getting rid of it. The social programs that were started under Lyndon B. Johnson, they might as well call them Lyndon B. Satan as some people talk about it. And I think that God would say it is welfare, the welfare for the vulnerable, because the vulnerable should be taken care of.
