Favourite meets the Bog, a scary creature that can devour her if she looks at it. Apukkha takes the form of Favourite's father late at night and tries to rescue her. Tamlin runs in but is stopped by Farah who thinks he has saved her life. The book does a really good job of making you feel like this place is so beautiful, but there's like a lot of bad shit going down. It's just a steer away from being actually genuinely creepy.
