You try not to spend any money you don't have to. There are some options here that are not superexpensive. Find a place where you can try this out, i think is great advice. Try it out without making a long term commitment. And the other thing, i think a disadvantage of it, and one of the things i immediately noticed when i started working for myself was all the time. It's just crazy.
