When that logic is divorced from the moral society in which it arose, right? It becomes a sort of, you know, just total disassociation of all. That's what Sosema is seeing, he's saying you're going to just get more things so that you can want more things. And the more you want them, the more you'll be at odds with your brother who's wanting in every different possible direction. And this tower, this grand utopia that you're building is going to turn out to be a tower of Babel that collapses into mutual unintelligibility. But we can also understand one another in relationships of mutual obligation - capitalism isn't the best system for understanding
