The Angola III

The Angola III is a group of formerly incarcerated black political prisoners and members of the Black Panther Party. This included Robert Hillary King, Albert Woodfox, and Herman Wallace. Tyler's activists on both sides of the prison walls together endured a combined total of 114 years in solitary confinement. He became involved in mutual aid in disaster relief efforts in New Orleans following Katrina in 2005 under the banner of Common Ground.
