Marriage Is a Really Interesting Example
i think marriage is a really interesting example because it captures a lot of what i feel ambiolent about here. I have always kind of revolted against that, and have not been able to kind of imagine myself putting myself through that,. It feels so deeply oppressive. And yet there i am. And i still love them too. Doono pick up that for us, perhaps haas is taking things very too seriously. She's putting enormous meaning into ritual. So se feel that ritual can only have one meaning. But we can subvert it in our minds when wecan give it a whole ange of meanings.
