Is There a Difference Between the Right and the Left?
Right wing impulse to turn back to some false nostolgic, romanticized past that never actually exists. With the left we have to point to a future that doesn't yet exist, that we're aiming to create. Both sides are afraid of a powerful government that will push them in a way they don't want to go. I think both sides recognize that liberal democracy model has proven to be a failure.
