Why do people put 10-mill equivalence of potassium in the babies? Because we know it's per liter, so they're obviously going to get less total because of their size. I think we have evidence that baby kidneys are not as good at excreting potassium. We also know that babies have intrinsically lower GFRs. And so if you're going to air in terms of anything you give to a baby, you always want to air on the lower side.
