Children and Sexual Abuse During the War
Most of the sexual abuse occurred amongst children who were in hiding situations, in hiding families, or hiding institutions. The motivation for wanting to take a child was really to get some kind of slave labor. For a multitude of reasons, sometimes they were regarded as the enemy. And on the other hand, it was just matters opportunity and power that led to sexual abuse.
