Forgiveness is something that happens between persons, right? And so i would say you have to separate interpersonal offences involving people from offences involving systems, institutions, corporate entities and so forth. I think that forgiveness is inappropriate in those contexts. You certainly don't have to forgive nor is it even possible, in my view, to forgive hat, you know, sort of corporate entities. But extremism is what ens when moderation fails. This does, in many ways feel like a moment in which a lot of people have decided that we've reached a tipping point and the time for moderation has passed.
