Is There a Relationship Between Laurie and Mark?
Laurie is a cleaner working at the university. She's had this horrible shock of her partner leaving. And she senses this presence that may or may not be a ghost, and it's a first person novel. The all of these kind of uncomfortable and pleasant and banal things that Laurie does, it's very up close and personal with her throughout. But I wondered how you arrived at her voice and specifically as well, how, how did Laurie is a character kind of impact on the structure? Is he say that order of events? That's not all so interesting.
