The Algorithm of Evolution Is a Form of Non-Cognitive Intelligence
I consider innovation to be a form of non biological evolution, it's just the same algorithm propagating through a different substrate. So for instance, this might be expressed in an entrepreneur that chooses to pivot. This is also what causes life to just adapt in general. You may have seen grass growing through the cracks of the pavement. This is nature throwing the proverbial spaghetti of the wall to see what works and it doubles down on its winners and cuts its losers.
