In rich femini square theory, there's a desire to aline with binery gender. The other extreme would be much closer to high queer theory where you have transpeople who are claiming and experiencing themselves as gender fluids. And they definitely em i have a lot of trans friends and so and also students and et cetera, and it's definitely the case that they just don't even understand why you would binerize gender because they don't experience themselves that way.
