The Marks of a Person Who Enjoys God's Fellowship
The psalm says that one of the marks of a person who dwells with God enjoys God's fellowship is that in his eyes, a vile person is despised. Paul said in Romans 13, 10, love does no wrong to a neighbor. So the psalmist is saying when he says, does no evil to his neighbor, I must love my neighbor. Do you agree? And if you do, how are we to simultaneously despise and love the sinfully vile?
