How to Deal With a Crisis Situation
I do a dose estimate of how much radiation they might have received, which is usually pretty low with those one-off situations. And then I counsel the staff who are usually quite concerned by that stage that they've forgotten to wear it and what's the possible risks. We also have staff exposures. So people will contact me if they're worried about radiation. It's really interesting work to deal with so many different types of people. The issues that arise can be quite unique.
