Fed Chair - Is That a Good Idea?
Peter Brown: The Powell Fed has been very nimble. If we can get through this to the soft landing, I think we'll soon forget that he could somehow turn policy and bring inflation down even if some of it was not his doing. David Beckworth: Having a PhD in economics is neither necessary nor sufficient for you to be an able central banker. And so we'll see what comes with disinflation occurs with either no or a mild recession.
