Zionism and the Jewish Community in General

A few tens of thousands of eastern european and russian jews chose a different path, inspired by a feeling that became the driving force behind the zionist movement. And i think it's probably the reason that zionism came to really become identified with the world's jewish community in general. To day, i was talking about the need for these diaspera communities to keep their heads down, right? Degrade yourself, act dishonorably if you have to, but you will back down if your whole community gets a reputation for being a bunch of cowards. Yel sure, that's great. We're cowards.
