What S.V.B. Shared With Other Banks
A large percentage of S.V.B.'s deposits weren't fully insured by the FDIC. Customers were highly interconnected and could exchange information almost instantaneously through social media. The bank's failure does not suggest problems are widespread in the U.S. banking system.
